What the hell is wrong with you people? This is my favorite reasonably-priced bourbon (well, tied with Maker’s). And I’m not european, an “urbane hipster”, or gay…nor do I give a rat’s arse who IS gay or any of that other stuff. If it is too harsh for you…go drink some Baileys and stay out of the real adult beverages. I can’t wait to get home and have a neck full, on the rocks, tonight.

The name makes it sound gay. With that affected “i” in bullet and a prissy name like Augustus, of course that guy would make a cheap bourbon that reminds people of a suppository. Bulleit bourbon is gay as poppers, and only urbane hipsters who live on the coasts and eurotrash drink it.

I arrived here searching for information about Bulleit Bourbon as Tom Bulleit is in town signing bottles and I was thinking about getting one. After reading the review and comments I think I will. Thanks everyone.

As far as the irreverent style of the review, what do you expect it says right on the About page “The reviews are written in an irreverent style…”! Take a drink and calm down… you know who you are.

Bulleit has become one of my top pours and for the cost maybe #1. One of my bandmates agree’s and he has the money to drink the best. Its smooth,full with good heat and spice. I went thru 3 bottles this summer and have a 4th uncorked. I have 8 top shevlf bourbons at all times in my homebar so it shows that I love this stuff. Best bourbon for the buck besides eagle rare.

Bulleit is my Standard Bourbon and I thinks it’s a steal. At $23 a bottle you can’t beat it. It does have a peppery taste to it as others have mentioned. It’s nothing like a Maker’s Mark which is around the same price point here in Ohio. Bulleit is a High- Rye bourbon where as Maker’s Mark is much sweeter. All about individual taste preference.

I really disliked this one, especially at its price point. Until I tried it with a spicy meal. For some reason, that made it taste AWESOME.

I don’t know if I’ll buy it again, but it rocks with spicy food. I can’t wait to try it with some slow-roasted pork BBQ with extra-spicy rub and sauce!
