I actually really liked Bulleit Bourbon even over Makers Mark and Knob Creek etc. It is my preferred bourbon for making my patented Whiskey Smashes! ( which are hard to beat)

Had planned to go to the Remington but our weekly Houston rainstorm and flood forced us to stay on our side of town. Will do it soon. However I was lucky enough to find a bottle of Old Charter 12 which is no longer produced in a local store. My gosh, fantastic bourbon. Thanks to your review have a new go to in addition to WT 101.

No doubt Blanton’s Bourbon is the best and the review is dead on. It would seriously take all day to talk about the different flavors this bourbon has. However your “price” is off by about $10. I’ve never spent more than $50 on my Blanton’s. It’s hard to find, so you may want to ask your local liquor store manager about ordering this bourbon.

Sometime ago I was in A liquor store and noticed A huge oak barrel used to display bottles of Knob Creek,I passed it up several times never trying it before,but them bottles caught my eye every time.Some time had passed and my B-Day arrived to which I then was handed A heavy bag from my girlfriend and found inside A huge bottle of Knob Creek,and am proud to say it will remain my brand.

EW Single Barrel is hands down the BEST bang for the buck. $24 a bottle for single barrel aged 10 years. On the rocks, no water needed!!

My grandfathers bourbon of choice was Old Charter and I have always been partial to it when I drink bourbon. By all means check out the 10 yr old stuff, its smooth as it can be, as good as or better than the much more expensive fancy bottle stuff.

I wonder if anyone else has noticed a big difference in the taste of Bulleit from the 1.75L screwtop and the .750L corked?

I first encountered Booker 126 Proof whilst living in Oakland New Jersey in 1999. I’m sure its what the American Native Indians called ‘Firewater’!!! My only disappointment was that when I returned to Australia to reside, the price grew up to AU$120.00 a bottle!!! Still a ‘Bargain’ for the World’s best Bourbon!!! I’ve mastered sipping it straight!!!

The ol’ Whiskey D? Whatever..heres a tip.Try writing reviews after you sober up..k? I picked up a bottle of this juice ..which looks like wine at a store south of my home on a trip. I had not seen it anywhere but read good reviews. My first sip made it a winner at $31.00 a bottle. I has a real floral sweet nose and finishes long time. This one reminds me alot of Eagle rare another fav. Oak roots…what…this is sweet burbon..nice…go back to cool aide my friend.
