If you (or anyone else) come to Durham, NC, check out the Whiskey! They order a lot of bourbons not available in North Carolina.

I went to a bar/restaurant in Jersey City, NJ (Light Horse Tavern) and asked for a Bourbon and the bar tender asked what do you prefer?
I said what's your best?
He showed me about 8 different brands.
Good times!

If/when you get to San Francisco, you must check out the aptly named Bourbon and Branch. Just make sure you go to their website first and make a reservation at their website, http://www.bourbonandbranch.com, as it is a speakeasy and you'll need to have a password to get in. They have, hands down, the best collection I've seen in a bar.
